Pupils are expected to read at least five times a week at home as this will support them to make the very best progress as they transition through their reading journey.
All pupils from year 1 – year 6 are given weekly spellings to practise at home. These will be practised in class throughout the week in preparation for the spelling test on a Friday.
All KS2 pupils are expected to access Times Table Rockstars at least 3 times a week.
Pupils in years 6 should access the SATs Bootcamp learning platform at least three times a week. This is designed to support the pupils to develop their resilience when answering test style questions.
